KCR to prove his potency in Nalgonda district!?

14 September 2017

Looks like Telangana CM, KCR wants the election polls show the plebiscite far before the arrival of general elections. Apparently, he does not want to wait until the 2019. Instead of waiting, he wants to keep the opposition parties’ mouth shut Telangana people. KCR wants to use the Nalgonda political situation as his boxing ring. As the first step goes, he made Nalgonda MP. Gutta Sukhender Reddy to resign from his seat by opening doors to by-elections, just to checkmate the opposition parties, specifically Congress even before 2019.

The TRS boss is fully confident of winning the Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat so that it would be an assurance advocate for the TRS party cadre.

But the other side of the coin which is visible to the Congress party appears to be different as Nalgonda has not been a stronghold of the Telangana Rastra Samiti, as the Congress party had won most of the assembly seats in the district. In Nalgonda parliamentary constituency, the TRS party could win only one out of 6 assembly seats in 2014 elections. On top of it, it has been sensed that a strong anti TRS feeling is also apparently growing in the Nalgonda district. This is the reason Congress party is openly challenging TRS to confront by conducting the by-elections.

"We challenge KCR to go ahead with his plan and ask Sukhender Reddy to quit to facilitate bypoll in Nalgonda,” Congress leaders V Hanumantha Rao, Mallu Ravi and Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said. People shall wait and see if Gutta becomes a scape goat, whether congress wins over TRS OR KCR concurs the Nalgonda district.
