As the MP’s from both the telugu states are disrupting the proceeding in the parliament for Special Status to Andhra Pradesh, looks like Central government appears to have taken note of the seriousness of the situation. Union Ministers M. Venkaiah Naidu and Y. Satyanarayana (Sujana) Chowdary, who held deliberations following the strong protests registered by the TDP MP. As per the latest news, Venkaiah Naidu is not taking the lead to keep Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the situation in Parliament on Special Status. It is being said Venkaiah Naidu called on Prime minister and also informed about the opposition call for Andhra Bandh on August 2nd. It is also learnt that Venkaiah Naidu is pushing in for a truce with important allies TDP and also emphasized on fulfilling the promise made by BJP in the manifesto to the as much as extent possible. With Chandrababu Naidu not showing interest in meeting Narendra Modi, Venkaiah Naidu is trying to bridge in the gap between TDP and BJP. Most of the onus is now on Venkaiah Naidu as he is the one who announced in the parliament that BJP will give special status to AP if comes into Power before elections.
