Looks like the AP State special Category status provision demand is heating-up. As a part of the strong oppose against to the laid-back thought process of the center towards granting the special status to the Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party members disrupted the proceedings in Parliament . Seems like center is trying to take this issue into the consideration with more seriousness than what they have shown earlier.
Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Sujana Chowdary briefed the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley about the developments in the AP State following his reply to the debate. Mr. Jaitley seems to understood the practicality and as per the sources, he has requested the Prime Minister to explore all the possible options to fulfil the promises made to the AP State as much as possible. And also there was a discussion held between the PM and the Union Minister in order to avoid the scope for differences with the alliance partner, TDP.
Let’s see how this will go from here on.
