Telangana government is ready to deal with the COVID-19 situation even if the situation worsens. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that government has made necessary arrangements for the worst including
hospitals with beds and increasing COVID-19 tests to 1000-1100 per day. KCR conducted a high level meeting with officials and ministers to discuss the present situation in the state especially
about the raising COVID cases in Greater Hyderabad region. He asked the officials to bifurcate the Hyderabad region into circles. Each circle will be called as an unit and a high level health official will be incharge of the unit.
KCR requested the police administration to make sure no one enters or leaves the circles. Each circle will be monitored by a senior police official.
KCR asked the officials to be vigilant as the cases in the neighboring state, Maharashtra and the rest of the country are increasing. He requested all the Telangana people to cooperate with the state government and to take shelter at homes till April 30th.
