A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 8.3 shivered Santiago, Chile’s capitalon Wednesday evening around 6.55 PM Eastern Standard Time. Series of strong aftershocks hit and tsunami warning was declared in the port of Valparaiso. There were no immediate reports on any injuries or damage, but communications were disrupted. The Tsunami alert has been issued for the entire coast of Chile. The quack was centered 141 miles away from Santiago and 4.8 miles beneath the surface.
