During Chandra Babu’s visit to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum Annual Summit, he was also invited as a Chief Guest for one of the Indian Business meetings in Davos. Through this meeting, he invited several Indian Company CEOs to set up their offices in the new AP capital, Amaravati. Chandra Babu said that the AP government is building one of the most livable cities in the world and requested the CEOs to work with him to increase the productivity. Few of the eminent figures who are invited are Rahul Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Auto, Vishal Sikka CEO, Infosys, Sunil Mittal Chairman, Bharti Enterprises, Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Enterprises Ltd, Suzlon Tulsi Tanti, Chairman, Suzlon were among the 100 CEOs who attended the Summit.
The Chief Minister also explained the plus points of AP, having a long coastline and led by port-based development and also can act as a logistics hub for South East Asia. He added that the tremendous success of the CII partnership summit has bolstered the state's brand. He said that AP will soon emerge as an industrial and innovation hub and he promised the industrialists that the AP government has created a hassle free approval process of the new applications who wants to come forward to establish their businesses.
