CM performance survey disappoints Naidu

15 July 2016

It is certainly evident that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been meticulously trying to develop his state which was thrown into the streets through the bifurcation. Andhra Pradesh, once, one of the richest states in India has become one of the poorest states overnight and left behind even without a capital city of its own. It is not so easy to keep state back on track and it will take at least a couple of decades of time to raise back from the ashes. Naidu is certainly playing a vital role in making the state to shine again and people have also elected him because of their trust towards him. Now, he was apparently disappointed as he was given just the 13th rank by PM Narendra Modi during the CM performance survey that was carried out recently. Naidu wants to convey his displeasure against the way and the parameters chosen to select the best CM among a list of 29. Also it is known that Telangana CM, KCR has come in No. 1 rank followed by the MP CM, Shiv Raj Chowhan and the Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh in the 3rd Rank in terms of their performance.

As per the political circles, Naidu has already communicated his displeasure to Mr. Modi and recapped with him that Andhra Pradesh was recently ranked in the number 1 position in terms of the implementation of various social and economic development programs as per the Niti Aayog report. If that report was correct, Naidu questioned that, how he could he dropped into the 13 rank. Naidu has reportedly commented as this is a paradox.
