It is known that the Supreme Court has given a judgement earlier that the Central Home Ministry must distribute the combined assets of Andhra and Telangana on the basis of population ration. This verdict included a timeline of 2 months which was already passed. Now the ball is in the central court. In the meantime, AP government has been pleading the Modi Government to provide the special status to the State of Andhra Pradesh. And also the AP state government sent a report to the central government listing out the total assets and liabilities of AP and the final figure of total assets to be shared have reportedly coming to an amount of 40,000 crores which also includes a 4,500 Crores of fixed deposits. These assets are spread over the Hyderabad City and also across the Telangana state. On the other hand, naturally, KCR’s government is planning curator petition challenging the AP Government’s request over sharing. However, as per the reports the assets division was done through a scientific approach. If this problem is solved, there will be a great relief to the AP government. Chandrababu has already requested the center to arrange the auction to majority of the AP’s assets. The center is yet to take decision on this.
