Rapid growth of Air Travel in Andhra Pradesh

AP region is getting busy in all aspects after state’s bifurcation. This is happening in Air travel activity too.  The number of air travelers from AP has grown of around 52 percent when compared with the 18 percent of the growth in the country since the last year. AP chief minister, Chandra babu, has said this in a district collectors’ conference held on Friday.

The recently released official report says the total passengers travelled from the 5 AP airports -- Tirupati, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Kadapa reached at 10,40,320 whereas the number was 6,83,861 during the same period of time compared with last year.
