Looks like Chiranjeevi has to wait for some more days again to work on his new film. His 151th film, which is a remake of Tamil movie ‘Kaththi’ ran into trouble after a complaint was registered with Telugu Film Directors Association. Writer N Narasimha Rao claimed story of Murugadoss's 'Kaththi' was hugely inspired from his script registered with Telugu Writers Association. Telugu Film Directors Association which is having Dasari Narayana Rao as the chairperson ruled 'Kaththi' should be remade or dubbed in Telugu only after Makers pay the compensation to the Writer.
Initially, Makers of 'Kaththi' remake agreed to this norm. However, No compensation was made to the Writer until now and the pre-production work of the remake is in full swing. As a result, Telugu Film Directors Association has called for non-cooperation to 'Kaththi' remake.
We have to wait and see how the issue will be resolved. First, Chiranjeevi movie with Puri Jagannath shelved and when all looks good with Kaththi remake, new issues cropped up.
Many Say it’s Dasari who took up this issue and is making sure Chiru pay the price.
