The death of Subhash Chandra Bose was announced by Tokyo Radio On August 22nd, 1945, for the first time to the world. A widely accepted belief is, Bose died in an air crash in Formosa which is presently Taiwan happened on August 18th, 1945 while he was travelling to Japan. There are few letters available that gives strength to the reports that he remained alive after until 1945.
In the recent developments, it has almost become evident that there are captures which show Netaji's family was spied upon after his disappearance. Recently, the Bengal government urged researchers and historians to conduct a thorough study to bring the truth about Subhash Chandra Bose, who was one of the greatest patriots and freedom fighters of pre-independence era. Original documents that belongs to Subhash Chandra Bose is placed at Police Museum. The digitized version of 64 files will be made available to the public in the form of DVDs.
West Bengal government is continuosly requesting the central government to make the documents public which had been confidential until now. Only time shall reveal the truth behind Netaji's disappearence.
