Meteorological Department of Hyderabad has passed the warning to the public of Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa and Kurnool districts on April 18 predicting on the continuing heat wave conditions. Rayalaseema to record maximum temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday with a dry weather. Even the Indian Meteorological Department announced that the intense burning conditions will continue in many of Indian states and specifically recorded the highest temperatures of 44.3 to 45 degrees Celsius at the Anantapur district.
On the other hand, patches of light rain occurred in few parts of Coastal districts and 1 centimeter of rain occurred in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Other than that, the heat wave is continuing in most of the parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. So far, 66 people in Telangana and 45 in Andhra Pradesh have died in this summer season. State and Central governments asked the public to take necessary precautions and suggested to avoid afternoon commutes and exposure as much as possible.
