Summer is taking the toll in both Telugu States. Governor Narasimhan too stepped in to monitor the steps taken by both the governments in Telugu States to tackle the heat. In the latest development, Andhra Pradesh government has decided to distribute free butter milk packets to public in view of the severe heat conditions prevailing across the state. This decision was taken by Chandrababu Naidu in the cabinet meeting held in Vijayawada. Most of the sun stroked are because of the lack of water in the body after excessive exposure to the sun.
Butter milk sachets would be distributed free in drinking water centers set up to supply water during summer. The government has also decided to set up air-conditioned centers near railway and bus stations, hospitals and markets, which would cost about Rs three crore.
